However, these hours must be self-reported to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) as part of the renewal process
To ensure your CE hours from FOAMfrat Studio are accepted by UMBC, follow these guidelines:
1. Obtain a Transcript
- A transcript of your completed CE hours can be requested by emailing support@foamfrat.com.
- The transcript will list the courses taken and their respective credit hours.
2. Meet the Credit Requirements
- You must provide 48 CE credits that emphasize critical care topics.
CE topics should align with those covered in the Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Program (CCEMTP℠). These may include but are not limited to:
- Ventilator management
- Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Pharmacology
3. Proper Documentation Submission
- Submit a complete transcript along with your renewal paperwork.
- Do not submit individual course certificates.
- If the CE hours were completed online, ensure that your name appears on the transcript and that relevant topics are clearly highlighted for review.
Important Notes
- It is your responsibility to ensure CE hours meet UMBC's renewal standards.
- UMBC requires a single transcript submission, not individual certificates.
- Transcripts should be sent with all required renewal paperwork to UMBC for review.
For further assistance, contact support@foamfrat.com to obtain your transcript or reach out to UMBC’s CCEMTP℠ program for renewal guidance.
